Welcome!

Join us for a weekly study in the bok of Vayikra (Leviticus). Set aside your fears about mind-numbing detail, and plan to explore to words of Torah with fresh eyes to find G-d's enduring instruction to Israel, and for those grafted-in, insight into not just the importance of worship but also the role of the wise in serving the community to walk in the way of taharah (Purity) and to wash away Tumah (the impure)  which cannot but help to cling to us as we serve in this world in need of tikkun (Repair).

This volume consists of a question and answer format with Chassidic insights, including from the teachings of Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson. Some may seem incomprehensible, but others will provide some interesting nuggest for consideration of the text. How does one apply the mitzvot and torah from Vayikra to everyday life? This is one perspective.

This is a presentation of the Rambam (Moshe ben Maimon, Maimonides, on portions from Vayikra dealing with gifts for the poor, specifically the so-called "Holiness Code" from Chapter 29, which Yeshua used in his teaching on love. Also includes references to Devarim (Deut). This is excerpted from his work, Mishnei Torah.
